Some mornings I wake up from this dream about a friend I haven't seen in 20-odd years, and my chest feels hollowed out with longing for him, for that connection. It feels deliciously right and disappointingly sad at the same time. It's a mystery.

New Postcards
For these, I just felt like playing with dry painting in several layers with just a few colors, and these are what I came up with: Rugged, with one of my carved James Dean stamps, and Autumn Birds, with my carved Walter Anderson bird stamp.
