I love doing jigsaw puzzles and recently set up a table in the living room to have space just for doing puzzles. We all like doing them and I think it encourages Lily to do her puzzles, too. And we'll give her pieces to put in the big puzzle so she's part of it, too. I think puzzles work your brain in a way most everyday activities don't. Better than TV, if I can do more than sit up lately.
My favorite kind of puzzles are ones with lots of little details, like Charles Wysocki puzzles. Those puzzles with one big picture on them are really boring for me. Not my kind of challenge. So this is one we just finished. Wysocki is an Americana artist and not really the kind of art I'd want on my walls, but they're fabulous for puzzles.

Nice! I like that it's not a rectangle, too.
